The nearest major town on the mainland is Volos, halfway between Athens and Thessaloniki, which is about three hours away by ferry or one and a half hours by hydrofoil. Athens is approximately four hours away by hydrofoil & bus, or six hours if you have your own car and take the ferry. Hydrofoils and ferries go to Aghios Konstantinos, on the mainland, half way between Athens and Volos. There are also good connections from Thessaloniki in the summer months. Upon arrival on Skiathos island getting to the hotel is very fast. The hotel is only 200 metres away and the main taxi station is in front of the harbour. How can i visit Skiathos Island?
Skiathos island has its own airport which caters to International charter flights as well as local flights. From May through October there are regular charter flights from most major cities in Europe. Alternatively, fly to Athens and then take a local Olympic flight to Skiathos. Flight time from Athens is approximately fifty minutes. Upon arrival on Skiathos island, getting to the hotel is very easy and inexpensive. The property lies only 1.7 km away from the airport and there are always plenty of taxis at the airport entrance.
